Died of Heart Failure

Brian was my dad. My best friend. I was, am, his little girl. whatever I did, wherever I went, my dad was the 1st to know.

He was a happy man. Loved his grandchildren. A great photographer. I got to go to all the weddings he did and it was great!

I remeber THAT day. 4th April 2001. I got a phone call at Neal's mums from my mum. You had been the doctors and still felt ill. You had chest pains and the doc said it was anxiety. He send you home with a sick note for work. I saw you at home. Mum called the Ambulance cos u were still in pain. We had a giggle about computers and the paramedic asked me to fetch you a glass of water so you could take a tablet. I got that glass of water. You never got to drink it though. I walked back into the room and you said, "I've gone all dizzy" you put your hands over your face. That was the last time I saw your eyes open. You had gone. Mum held your hand as the paramedics took you to the ambulance. I knew. I just knew, you'd gone. Paul got to the house just as the paramadics were treating you. He took me, mum and Neal to the hospital but our Neil was in collage in Liverpool. He had to find him so Paul left to get him. The doctor came to me, mum and Neal. She asked mum to join them as they tried thier very best to help you. Mum came back about 15-20 mins later. "He's gone" she said. Thats when my world collapsed. Why did you go so soon? I bet you would like to know. Turns out you wernt getting the correct treatment for your Polisythemia. doctors error but you paid the price. We are STILL paying the price.

I miss u dad. always have, always will. I know you watch over my babies. Katie always looks into the air and smiles.

So, until we meet again dad, I love you. Always and Forever. Claire xxx

PS: Make sure you have a chip butty ready for me!!!

8 Years Today

Well dad, its been 8 long years now since you left us. Not by choice but you were called and you had to go. I miss you more today than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow.

Josh and Katie are doing well. Josh is 3 years old now and Katie is 9 months old. I wish they could meet you. You would absolutly love them. Especially Katie. She's my little diomond. She's playing on the floor as I write this, not a care in the world. She's beautiful. Your walls would be full of pictures of Josh and Katie. Josh is so funny. What a laugh you'd have with him! He's such a cheeky character. He knows who you are when he sees pictures of you.

Well dad, I'd better go. Josh has fallen asleep next to me and I have to le him down or he'll get a sore neck. Katie will cry in a bit tho as I have to move away from her. We're joined at the hip so i seems like it physically hurts her when I have to step away from her!

Speak to you soon dad. Love you and miss you

Always and Forever
